After School Art Clubs

Hello! If you have landed here you most likely would like to book your children or children into one of my after school art clubs - welcome!

I offer after school art clubs at three local schools: High Littleton C of E primary school, Farrington C of E primary school and Cameley CVEC primary school. I run art club at Farrington Gurney school on a Monday, two after school art clubs at High Littleton school; one on a Tuesday and the other on a Thursday and most recently at Cameley primary school on a Wednesday. I have been running and art after school at High Littleton C of E primary school since 2021.

How they work?

After school art club is run on a termly basis. You can sign your child or children up every term or just one or two; it’s up to you. Each term is different and the children produce one main art project plus other mini art pieces. Your child will get to experience projects like expressive abstract paintings, collage paintings and making their own concertina sketchbook. All the materials used in art club are provided be me, which include artist quality paper for the main projects, artists quality paint and any tools we use. The after school art clubs take place at the schools and I will run in conjunction with the usual after school club time for that school. I have a DBS certificate and I have been through the appropriate safeguarding training for the Midsomer Norton schools partnership trust. After school art club is £35 per child for one term.

How do I sign my child up?

Your child must attend either High Littleton C of E Primary School, Farrington C of E Primary School or Cameley CVEC primary school to sign up. You will find an icon below for each school with the appropriate term it is taking place. You will notice there are 2 icons per term for High Littleton school, this is because you will choose if you would like your child to attend the Tuesday session or the Thursday session. All you need to do is click on the school and day that your child would like to attend, scroll to the bottom and click ‘add to backet’. Once you have signed up I will send you an email to confirm your child or childrens place(s) and I will share this with the appropriate school so that they know your child is attending. I can take a maximum of 12 children per art club night so if in the event that the art club is full, please contact me by email and I will keep your child on a waiting list. After school art club - Term 2 - Tuesdays

High Littleton C of E primary school

Sign your child up for this expressive, exciting after school art club on Tuesday’s at High Littleton C of E primary school.

After school art club take place over 5 weeks per term and is bookable termly. The sessions are 3.20pm to 4:20pm starting Tuesday 3rd November 2026 and take place at the school.

Please note that art club needs to run with a minimum of 6 children if less children sign up I may need to refund you. I will email you directly if this is the case and I will inform school.

What will we create this term?

Each term we create one main painting or creation and work on that over the 5 weeks. In amongst this we also work on smaller creations and allow time for the children to just draw.

In term 2 we will be making beautiful bookmarks from the abstract paintings the children will create.

This is a Tuesday session which takes place at High Littleton Primary school.
This club will run for 5 weeks during Term 2, However please note this term the dates are not consequtive as I will be attending an art event for one of the weeks. At the moment this is w/c 23rd November but this could be subject to change. I would let you know by email of any date changes. .
The art club dates are:
- Week 1 - Tuesday 3rd November
- Week 2 - Tuesday 10th November
- Week 3 - Tuesday 17th November
- NO ART CLUB Tuesday 24th November
- Week 4 - Tuesday 1st December
- Week 5 - Tuesday 8th December
After school art club is available to children in years 2 through to 6.
No previous painting experience needed.
Your child will receive lots of encouragement and coaching.
All materials provided including aprons.
