Original air balloon collage painting.

This is an original painting and completely unique. It’s perfect for any occasion; a Christmas gift, an anniversary present, birthday present, wedding gift, or simply to show someone you love them.

The frame is the perfect complement for this painting due to it being free standing which means it doesn't require hanging on a wall (but can be easily be hung if preferred). As it’s free standing it can look beautiful anywhere; on a shelf, in a bookcase, on a mantelpiece, on a desk or on a bedside table.

This air balloon was inspired by the balloons in Bristol near my home. It was painted in acrylic and is blue complimented with blue glitter to catch the light.

What makes this piece of art special?

I love colour, texture and sparkle! I paint in oil/acrylic with a palette knife rather than a brush and create expressionistic paintings which I use to create my air balloon and other symbolic designs. These are cut from my own designs before I add sparkle by hand. Each air balloon has it’s own personality and it’s only once cut that I decide which sparkle or range of sparkles to use. The nature of this process means that no one is the same and they make truly unique gifts.
