Original star and heart collage painting.
This is an original painting and completely unique. It’s perfect for any occasion; a Christmas gift, an anniversary present, birthday present, wedding gift, or simply a gift to show someone you love them.
This star and heart painting was inspired originally by a commision I created for someone who wanted to combine showing the recepient that they thought they were a 'star' and also how much they loved them. It was painted in acrylic using palette knives which gives the paint a rich and textural look. The main colour is purple with a flash of pink and is complimented with gold glitter on the edges of the star and heart which catch the light beautifully.
The frame is the perfect compliment for this painting due to it being free standing which means it doesn't require hanging on a wall (but can be easily be hung if preferred). As it’s free standing it can look beautiful anywhere; on a shelf, in a bookcase, on a mantelpiece, on a desk or on a bedside table.

*This painting is framed in a white box frame 12cm square and 3.5cm deep.
*The frame is free standing or can be hung on a wall.
*Your painting will be dispatched between 3-5 days and posted personally by me.

What makes this piece of art special?
I love colour, texture and sparkle! I paint in oil/acrylic with a palette knife rather than a brush and create expressionistic paintings which I use to create my star and hearts and other symbolic designs. These are cut from my own designs before I add sparkle by hand. Each star and heart has it’s own personality and it’s only once cut that I decide which sparkle or range of sparkles to use. The nature of this process means that no one is the same and they make truly unique gifts.
