This is an original collage painting and completely unique. It is perfect for any occasion or simply a gift to show someone you love them. It can be posted directly to them by me and if you also bought one of my greetings cards it could be sent with it including your personalised message.
This little heart collage painting was inspired by my recent woodland walks, love and unity. Each heart starts as a larger abstract painting using acrylic paint and is painted with palette knife which gives the paint a rich and textural look and feel. The hearts are cut by hand and sparkled by hand.
The frame is the perfect complement for this painting. It's free standing which means it doesn't require hanging on a wall (but can be easily be hung if preferred) and can look beautiful anywhere; on a shelf, in a bookcase, on a mantelpiece, on a desk or on a bedside table.

*This painting is framed in a white box frame 12cm square and 3.5cm deep.
*The frame is free standing or can be hung on a wall.

What makes this piece of art special?
I love colour, texture and sparkle! I paint in oil or acrylic with a palette knife rather than a brush and create expressionistic paintings which I use to create my star and heart designs. These are cut from my own designs before I add sparkle by hand. Each star and heart have its own personality and its only once cut that I decide which sparkle or range of sparkles to use. The nature of this process means that no one is the same and they make utterly unique gifts.
